Get the best of the season delivered right to your door! We believe in keeping things simple and eco-friendly, so we use minimal packaging and deliver by electric cargo bike with our friends at eLOV. We source all our produce from Organic North, a fantastic cooperative based in Manchester that partners with farms across Europe. We always prioritize British produce whenever we can, and we’ll let you know exactly where everything in your box comes from.

What’s in the Christmas Veg Box
Small – Suitable for a family of 4 people
All weights are approximate give or take.
- Carrot Washed – 600g
- Potatoes – 700g
- Leeks – 300g
- Onion Yellow – 250g
- Sprouts Green – 250g
- Cauliflower – 1 cauliflower
- Parsnip Washed – 400g
- Red Cabbage – 1 cabbage
- Broccoli- 400g
Large Boxes are suitable for a family gathering of 6+ people and have double everything apart from Cauliflower as we thought that was rather a lot of cauliflower.
Fruit & Veg FAQs
When is delivery?
Boxes will be delivered on Monday 22nd December 2025 in the afternoon.
Why do I need to order by the 15th?
Because Scoop & Scales is closed over Christmas we want to avoid waste food. So we will take the orders and make sure we accurately order the veg for the boxes with as little left over as possible.
Can I get fruit in my box?
Sorry but we have decided not to offer fruit in the Christmas Boxes as Scoop & Scales will be closed over Christmas and we don’t want to have surplus fruit going to waste.
What is the difference between a small and large box?
We think there is enough veg for a family meal for 4-5 on the small and 6+ in the large box but we have tried to put appoximate weights in the list for you.
Can I choose my own veg?
No sorry we simply don’t have the systems and resources to make up indiviudal boxes. However if there is something you specifically don’t want just add a note on the order and we will try our best to accomodate you request.
Can I ask not to get specific items?
Yes at checkout there is an order notes box if you add in your request here we’ll do our best to accomodate it.
What if I am not in?
eLov will leave your box in a safe place, simply let us know on the order notes and we’ll make sure the box is left somewhere safe for you to collect.
Where do you deliver?
eLov have set up a map see opposite for the delivery area. Very roughly it is SK10 but includes Prestbury and Bollington as well as Macclesfield.
Can I collect my box from the shop?
Yes! If you tell us in the order notes you will be collecting from the shop we make sure that your box is ready. They can usually be collected from 2pm on Monday 22nd December.
