Scoop and Scales Eco Competition launches

Scoop and Scales are excited to announce the launch of our eco competition. This has been made possible by our commitment to profit for purpose

Here is everything you need to know about the competition:

What’s it all about?
Scoop and Scales want to get young people thinking about ideas that will help our environment, whether it’s a product, a service, or event. We also want to provide some funding so that some of these ideas can be realised.

How do I take part?
– Form a team (2 or more people)
– Have a brainstorm, for inspiration look here
– Decide on one idea to take forward
– Fill in our S&S Eco Competition form OR make a video of your plan (have a look at the form to see what we need to know)
– submit it to scoopandscales@gmail.com by Monday 2nd October

How much funding is available?
The profit for purpose committee have approved a total funding pool of £500. This could be used for one project, or divided to fund multiple teams. The winners will be announced on Friday 6th October.

What help is available?
Please speak with your teachers or eco council coordinator who will be able to offer you some tips. Scoop and Scales are happy to help as well, just send us an email with any queries you have. The winning team/s will get regular support from Scoop and Scales.

Who can enter?
The competition is open to teams made up of students between the ages of year 7 and year 12
